Four years after its creation, the Hub b30 is now in a stage of growth and consolidation. A governance model has been promoted, to join forces of all the actors of the innovation system, in order to jointly define future actions and shared agendas to achieve them. All this with the common objective of fostering the connection with the agents of the Quadruple Helix – public administrations, academia, companies and civil society – and responding to the challenges of the B30 territory.
An activities commission has also been created that brings together the 15 partners of the b30 Hub, through which a map of the initiatives and collaborative and innovative projects that are being carried out in the B30 territory has been drawn up, with the purpose of to detect needs and interests, in addition to adding value to them and increasing their impact. These actions will allow to effectively define the objectives and future actions that will be focused on 4 main areas of interest, with the industry as a transversal axis:
- Training and talent
- Digitization and technology
- Sustainability, circularity and the environment
In 2021, the Hub b30 has continued to grow and expand its partners with the adhesion of the Sabadell Chamber of Commerce and the Institute for Agrifood Research and Technology – IRTA.
